Sorry for the slow posting lately. I’ve got this paper I’m working on, and I got sick (a mild but tiring flu), and the house is a total shambles and I had to do some cleaning. And for the first time, the internet ate one of my posts. I recently went to a rock show and had such a good time – and I wrote a long and thoughtful post about music and memory and the experience of seeing folks I haven’t seen in years… but when I hit “publish,” I lost connectivity to the blog server or something because it timed out and the writing was gone. Gone! Usually when I post I highlight and copy the text before I try to publish, just in case that kind of thing happens, but wouldn’t you know it I didn’t do it that time. Sheesh.
Somebody gave us both the flu that night. Luckily yours was mild…mine, not so much.
