Canada Post is messing with me again. My order of tinsel from Lee Valley? According to Canada Post online: Attempted delivery on Friday, pick up slip left in my mail box the same day, ready to be fetched at the local post office since then. Today is Tuesday – not only did no one try to deliver the parcel (when will they figure out I don’t have a job and I’m always home and can therefore totally bust them lying about this?), but there is still no pick up slip three days working days later. I know it’s not justifiable but I would love to absolutely strangle whoever is responsible for this fuck up.
I feel like suing for fraud. Clearly Canada Post cannot come through on their promise to deliver in the time allowed based on the postage I paid for. Why do they even have different postage rates? It does me no good for the parcel to arrive on Friday if I can’t go get it until who the fuck knows when because no one will leave me a pick up slip. And I have tried getting my parcel with ID but no slip – guess what? They won’t hand it over. What a bunch of jackasses.
Obviously Canada Post is staffed exclusively by malicious, retarded baboons. I hate them all.
Edit: I got my package. Turns out there’s a code you can get from customer service when your delivery slip is late, which allows you to get your mail.
