I’ve been thinking and reading about nutrition a lot lately, partly on the recommendation of a physician Husband knows and partly because my body is so fucked up these days. It might not be a panacea, but it is something I can do myself. With that in mind, here’s my report of a day’s eating, from yesterday:
Breakfast: Toast and peanut butter.
Lunch: Vegetarian sushi (nothing deep fried)
Dinner: Curry lentils and potatoes (a soupy concoction also containing tomatoes, coconut milk, vegetable broth, onions, garlic, cumin, coriander, celery and carrots) over brown basmati rice.
Snack while watching Google videos about the evils of dairy: carrots.
(Note: the presenter is a bit of a fanatic and has that scary, angry person vibe going on… but his research is solid. You can check it for yourself.)
