I miss blogging. I don’t miss obnoxious emails from irate readers (but who can blame them, I’m so controversial!). I don’t miss the constant frustration of not being free to write everything I want to out of concern for loved ones and future employers. But… still… I miss this place.

I wouldn’t worry too much about future employers. Your blog is anonymous enough that it would take a fair amount of effort for someone to associate it with you. I don’t know how many employers actually do that sort of thing. None of the bollocks that I’ve blathered about on the internet over the last 12 years has really affected my career at all, and nothing I’ve written has been even remotely anonymous.
The loved ones are the only ones you would really need to worry about.
