Blogosaurus Vex

I’m a woman living in Canada’s most beautiful and winter-free city, Vancouver. I love it here and wouldn’t live anywhere else. Probably. I’m married to my love, a very smart fellow who has a challenging profession but wishes he was either a philosopher or a poker professional. We have a good life together.

I spend my time playing games, quilting, painting miniatures, experimenting in the kitchen, watching crime dramas, using my brain, and reading.  I like books about men dying on mountains or Antarctica or on the seas in a little rowboat after the ship sinks a million miles from shore.  I have at least one tub every day and believe in the value of a good nap.  I aspire to be an excellent home maker but haven’t made it yet. I am a vegan and someone who likes to go to bed early, so I have all the more time to be grumpy in the morning.

On my blog I like to write about:

Cooking vegan, vegan issues, religion, evolution, athiesm, psychology, married life and family life, home making, being in grad school, my absurdly tiny car, my yearnings for a pet, things that make me laugh, and the occasional rant. I have no idea what demographic this would appeal to, so probably I’m just writing for me!
