I support the open and free exchange of ideas, even unpopular ones. We don’t all agree on all points, and we shouldn’t censor ourselves because we’re afraid others will disagree or because our ideas are “heretical.” Nonetheless, this does not excuse us from the obligation to treat one another with respect and to behave like reasonable, rational adults. Discussions must stay civil and respectful or I will delete them. I will not tolerate name calling, fighting, or other related offenses of commenting. A spirited debate is one thing; a hostile argument is another.
In short: don’t be an ass.
